Event Overview

Want to get your son, daughter or mentee involved in hunting? Have you always wanted to try upland hunting but never had the time or experienced hunter to teach you? Are you an experienced hunter but just don’t have the time to spend putting together a hunt?

Pay It Forward Now’s guided pheasant hunts are designed for both the novice and experienced hunter. We will arrange the entire hunt, you just show up with a good attitude and a desire to learn.

Please plan to arrive approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled time. There will be a safety briefing and a chance to practice on some clay pigeons.

A pulled pork lunch with baked beans and chips is also available for $10. Anyone who has had Brett’s pulled pork will tell you it is well worth the $10.

Prerequisites

The following are prerequisites for attending this hunt:

• • proof of completion for a hunter education course
  • knowledge of basic firearms safety (i.e., the NRA Gun Safety Rules)
  • working knowledge of shotguns

Required Equipment

A good attitude and a checkbook (you will pay $20 per bird in addition to your ticket purchase). We can provide a shotgun, shells, boots you can get dirty, hunter orange hat, etc.

Optional Equipment

If you already have hunting equipment, feel free to bring it. In addition, any of the following are also welcome:
